Amr Hassan

Hi! I'm Amr Hassan, an Artificial Intelligence graduate from Egypt and currently pursuing my Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) in Germany. Alongside my studies, I work as a Data Engineer at Siemens Healthineers.

My journey started with choosing Artificial Intelligence as my university major, and throughout my bachelor's degree, I gained a deeper understanding of the field, its different specializations, and the wide range of career paths it can lead to. Now, as someone who has experienced studying AI in Egypt and is continuing his academic journey in Germany, I can share insights from both an academic and practical perspective.

I know that choosing a university major after high school can be challenging. There are so many fields to explore, questions about the future, and decisions that can feel overwhelming when you're not sure what to expect. That's why I believe it's important to hear from someone who has actually studied the field and experienced what the journey looks like.

As a mentor, I'd love to help you explore Artificial Intelligence, understand what studying it at university is really like, discover its different specializations, and learn about the skills and career opportunities associated with the field. We can also talk about university life, studying in Egypt versus Germany, and the opportunities and challenges of pursuing higher education abroad.

My goal isn't to convince you to choose AI, but to help you understand whether it matches your interests, strengths, and future goals. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, discussing your concerns, and exploring your options without pressure.
