Studying in Barcelona means getting the best of both worlds: a city full of energy, culture and opportunities, while still having that feeling of being part of a close student community.

As a Physiotherapy student living and studying here, I’ve experienced Barcelona beyond the tourist side of the city. From balancing university, clinical placements and a part-time job to discovering new cafés, beaches, neighbourhoods and places to spend time with friends, there’s always something happening.

What makes Barcelona special is how easy it is to build a life here. You can finish a university class, walk to the beach, grab food with friends, explore a new part of the city or simply sit outside and enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle. At the same time, studying here gives you the chance to meet people from different backgrounds and become much more independent.
