My Professional Journey My path in medicine began with a profound dedication to patient advocacy, rigorous clinical science, and compassionate care. Moving abroad to Jordan to complete my Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST)—followed by intensive clinical training at the prestigious King Hussein Medical Center and Salmaniya Medical Complex—transformed my character. It instilled in me the discipline, resilience, and cultural adaptability required to thrive in demanding, fast-paced healthcare environments. Navigating complex international licensing examinations—including PLAB 1 & 2 for UK General Medical Council (GMC) registration, the SMLE, and maintaining my NHRA (Bahrain) licensure—gave me firsthand insight into the exact challenges aspiring medical students and IMGs face. Studying abroad and practicing across diverse systems taught me that global medical education broadens your perspective and prepares you for the realities of modern clinical practice.
