A 60-minute one-to-one video session. Ask anything about studying abroad.
My journey in Australia has been shaped by education, professional experience, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their goals. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Management Information Systems (BMIS) from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. As an international student myself, I understand the challenges and opportunities of studying abroad, adapting to a new culture, and building a future in a different country.
My studies in MIS provided me with knowledge of technology, business management, data, information systems, and strategic decision-making. This multidisciplinary field combines technology and business to help organisations improve efficiency, solve problems, and make informed decisions. It also opened my perspective on career opportunities across business, IT, project management, and organisational development.
Alongside my academic qualifications, I bring extensive professional experience in executive administration, government-related operations, telecommunications, electoral administration, and private business. These experiences have strengthened my communication, leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills, which I apply when supporting students and families.
As an International Student Advisor and mentor, my goal is to make the journey of studying in Australia clearer, more manageable, and less overwhelming. Having experienced this journey first-hand, I understand that choosing the right university and course is only the beginning. Students and parents also need practical guidance on preparing for life abroad, understanding the education system, managing living expenses, finding suitable accommodation, adapting to Australian culture, and balancing academic and personal responsibilities.
I help students explore suitable study pathways based on their interests, previous qualifications, strengths, and future career goals. I encourage them to consider course content, entry requirements, university location, tuition fees, living costs, and potential career opportunities before making important decisions. I also share practical insights into time management, academic organisation, professional communication, and making the most of university support services and career development opportunities.
My mentoring approach is personal, supportive, and realistic. I believe every student has different needs, ambitions, and circumstances. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, I aim to help students and their families understand their options, prepare for challenges, and make informed decisions with greater confidence.
My mission is to bridge the gap between the dream of studying in Australia and the practical steps needed to achieve it. By combining my Master’s degree, professional background, and first-hand experience as an international student, I aim to empower students to make the most of their education and build a brighter future.
Your goals, my guidance, a brighter future.
